FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The salon is located within the well-known Salon Elkee, on Lorraine Avenue, Berkeley Vale. It is the first business from the left in the small set of shops including Berkeley Vale Medical Centre and Chemsave. Click here for more information. 


Yes,there is parking at the Berkeley Vale Medcial Village as well as street parking on Lorraine Avenue, minimal distance to the salon. 


Please allow one hour for cutting and styling services. For thicker hair/restyling, roughly an hour and a half. For colouring/foiling services, please allow around two hours for minor services, and up to four for bigger jobs such as a full head foils. Please let Elizabeth know before she starts the service of any time restraints and she will do her best to accommodate.


Elizabeth is quite intuitive and will do what she can to provide a space and service for you to relax, anxiety free if you're not keen on the small talk, otherwise she is up for a good chat.  For those seeking a true zone out from life, Elizabeth can keep questions to a minimum and about hair only. 


Yes! An easily accessible toilet is located within the salon.


Eden Hair accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard and Amex payments. Direct debit is also available.


Elizabeth has thoughtfully packaged together these services to ensure the best results for you and your hair. As a cutting and colouring specialist she cannot guarantee her work without styling and perfecting your haircut dry. Cleansing ensures any product build up is removed to give ample chance of styling longevity. Elizabeth hopes you can relax while having your hair done and there are few who don't enjoy this part of the service, she will though take $5 off if you don't want a shampoo with your cut. 

With colouring/foiling the same applies as hair can look very different wet to dry. 

In the case of toning, there are rare occasions it isn't necessary for the desired outcome. In these cases a slight discount will be provided. 


Elizabeth takes bookings up to three months in advance. To ensure you receive the day and time desired please book ahead of time. Same day appointments are rarely available - consider booking in your next appointment as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. 


Elizabeth is known for asking lots of questions in her consultations and asks that you have some thoughts and ideas about what you'd like to achieve with your hair, it is also very helpful if you wear your hair how you would on a typical day. 

For new clients and anyone seeking a major change, please advise at the time of booking so that ample time can be given, realistic expectations set and a plan can be discussed to achieve your desired outcome.  Photos of what you like and what you don't like are always welcome - please appreciate that these are used for inspiration not imitation. 


 A booking fee will apply for any new clients booking for any colour services. 


Students under 18 will be offered a 5% discount. With the proof of a seniors card a discount of 5% will be offered Monday to Friday on cutting and styling services only.


Not at present, but please enjoy 10% off retail in your birthday month and look out for other promotions on Eden Hair socials throughout the year.


If you're running late for your scheduled appointment please contact Elizabeth as soon as possible as it may impact her ability to provide the full service you've booked for. This is so she can honour the time of her following appointments.  Please read Eden Hair salon policies for more information.


Please wear something you're comfortable in and loose fitting around the neck so Elizabeth can be sure your haircut is sitting perfectly. All due diligence is taken to not get colour on clothing but she still asks that you don't wear crisp white if you are having your hair dyed black :)


Eden Hair offers an adjustment period of seven days after service. Please do reach out if you are not 100% satisfied and Elizabeth will do her best to rectify the issue. Change of mind services and refunds will not be offered. Please read Eden Hair salon policies for more information here.


Ideally Elizabeth would love for you to escape reality for a little while but understands the times we live in. She asks that you keep phone conversation to a minimum so she can focus on you. 


Yes! Elizabeth looks after men's hair needs too and a shampoo is included with any men's hair services.
